How can I participate?

Click the ‘Sign Up’ button up the top of the webpage, and create a name and password of your choice. Supply a valid email address so that we can contact you with any further information or news.
If you have signed up already, click on ‘Log In’ at the top of the webpage.

Why should I sign up?

Council develops a long-term plan for the City every three years and wants you to participate with how you envision Invercargill for the future. It is a fun and easy way to communicate with Council, as well as contribute to discussions and vote on other ideas.

What happens to this feedback?

All the ideas, comments and discussion will be fed back to Council for their long-term planning process. This will be used alongside other general consultation once the draft document has been prepared.

I don’t like using the internet, what will I miss out on?

Council will still be utilising their alternative consultation methods such as written submissions, newspaper notices and taking the Caravan out around the City. This is a new innovative way to complement alternative consultation methods that Council currently uses.

Will my idea be used?

Council will consider all ideas that are posted on Imagine Invercargill, but these will not necessarily progress any further. For further information please contact policy@icc.govt.nz
