the new margert mahey park in Christchurch is a well used attraction for many families. Would be cool to see something similar developed here in Invercargill. Maybe a Burt Munro themed park?

Margaret Mahy playground somewhere in Southland as a ‘destination’ playground for family outings would be AWESOME!
A large park like the Margaret Mahy Park in Bluff would be awesome. Not everything has to be in Invercargill.
Would give locals a reason to drive to Bluff. Let the kids have a run round and grab an ice cream or Fish n Chips for on the way home.
There must be vacant blocks of land along the Foreshore South Port don’t always use. There’s also a large grass area near the Bluff camping ground. Apart from swimming at the Bluff Pool and Scooter/Skateboarding what else is there for the average school kid to do in Bluff? Or if not Bluff, what about other areas West Plains? Myross Bush? Makarewa? spread the awesomeness around.
any indoor playground is an improvement of what is available now. ANY INDOOR being the operative words
